Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the NV Auto Detail website and detailing services. By booking an appointment with us, you accept these terms.

1. Bookings are approval-based

Submitting our booking form creates a request, not a guaranteed appointment. We will review your request and either approve and confirm it, propose an alternate time, or decline it. We notify you of our decision by email— to the address you gave us on the booking form — and also by text message if you chose to opt in to appointment texts (see Section 8). Email is the channel we commit to, so keep the address accurate. We reserve the right to decline any request for any lawful reason, including unsafe conditions, geographic feasibility, or scheduling conflicts.

2. Service location and conditions

We perform services at the address you provide. You are responsible for ensuring we have safe and legal access to the vehicle, adequate clearance to work around it, and that any rules of your property (HOA, parking lot owner, etc.) permit a vehicle being detailed at that location.

We bring our own water and power. We do not require access to your home, garage, or utilities.

3. Vehicle condition disclosure

You agree to truthfully disclose excessive interior contamination — pet hair beyond normal, food spills, mud, sand — and any biohazards, including but not limited to vomit, mold, bodily fluids, or anything biologically active. If a booking is materially mis-described and the work cannot safely be completed in the scheduled window, we will either (a) complete a reduced scope and adjust the price by mutual agreement, or (b) reschedule the appointment with an updated quote, at our discretion.

4. Pricing and payment

Quoted prices apply when the booking accurately reflects the vehicle and condition. Final price is set at the time of service. We currently accept Venmo, Zelle, and cash. Payment is due upon completion of the service. We do not charge cards or hold deposits.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may reschedule or cancel an approved appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled start at no charge. Inside the 24-hour window, repeated cancellations may result in future booking requests being declined.

We may also need to reschedule due to weather, equipment, or operational conditions. We will contact you — by email or phone — as soon as we know.

6. Liability

We carry commercial general liability insurance covering damage caused by our negligence during a service. Pre-existing damage, mechanical issues unrelated to our work, and damage caused by undisclosed vehicle conditions (see Section 3) are excluded. Photographs taken before service for liability documentation are retained per our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

7. Referral program

Each customer receives a personal referral code. When a new customer books their first appointment using your code and the appointment is completed, both you and the new customer receive an account credit applied to the next booking. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and expire 12 months after issue.

8. SMS communications are optional

The SMS-consent box on our booking form is optional and unchecked by default. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of booking, of purchase, or of any service we provide— leave it unchecked and your request is handled exactly the same way, with notifications sent by email per Sections 1 and 5. A phone number is required on the form so we can reach you to coordinate the appointment, including by voice call; providing it does not opt you in to text messages.

If you do check the box, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from NV Auto Detail about your appointments — booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. We do not send marketing SMS. You may withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by leaving the consent box unchecked the next time you book — at no cost and with no effect on your booking; reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for more.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Booking an appointment after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
